Band I, II, III, IV, and Percussion Studies all count on the GPA for 0.25 credit per semester.

Pass-Fail Option
Any student has the option to take band as a pass-fail course any term.  Any student not enrolled in Band all 5 days a week must take Band pass-fail.  Some additional students elect this option since Band is not an honors credit and a A in a "regular" class could actually lower a student's GPA if they are getting very high marks in other honors classes.  Any student electing the pass-fail option is expected to satisfactorily complete all band assignments (including concerts) in order to earn a passing grade.
